Accountant – Full‑Cycle Finance & Tax Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Accountant to manage all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. You will ensure accurate reporting, compliance with tax regulations, and provide clear insight into the company’s financial health.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day accounting transactions and prepare budget forecasts.
• Publish timely financial statements and handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings.
• Reconcile accounts payable and receivable and ensure timely bank payments.
• Compute taxes, prepare tax returns, and maintain compliance with GAAP.
• Maintain balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and report on liquidity.
• Audit financial documents, reinforce data confidentiality, and perform database backups when needed.

Required profile

• Proven work experience as an Accountant.
• Strong knowledge of accounting regulations, especially GAAP.
• BSc in Accounting, Finance or a related field; CPA or CMA is a plus.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical abilities.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with FreshBooks and QuickBooks.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including VLOOKUP and pivot tables.
• Familiarity with general ledger functions.
