Associate – Metals & Mining, Fuels & Resources (S&O Advisory)

About the role

PwC is seeking an Associate to join its Metals & Mining, Fuels & Resources S&O Advisory team in Gurgaon. The role focuses on sustainability, climate and energy consulting, and digital transformation for manufacturing and industrial clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead or contribute to digital and analytics engagements across plant operations, supply chain, and asset management.
• Identify operational pain points and translate them into analytics‑based solutions.
• Develop strategies to reduce greenhouse‑gas emissions and support clients’ transition to a low‑carbon economy.
• Collaborate with plant teams and business leaders to implement AI/ML and automation initiatives.
• Provide guidance on sustainability risks, opportunities, and regulatory compliance.

Required profile

• Dynamic professional with a passion for manufacturing, digital transformation, and sustainability.
• Strong functional understanding of industrial operations and exposure to data‑driven projects.
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate complex concepts clearly.
