Associate – Aerospace & Defence Advisory

About the role

PwC is looking for an Associate to join its Aerospace & Defence (A&D) practice in Gurugram. You will work on strategic consulting engagements that support government bodies, defence PSUs, armed forces, OEMs, startups and private sector companies across the full defence and aerospace ecosystem.

Key responsibilities

• Support strategic consulting projects in aerospace, defence, homeland security and advanced manufacturing.
• Conduct market assessments, competitive benchmarking, opportunity identification and industry analysis.
• Assist in business case development, investment analysis and growth‑strategy formulation.
• Contribute to defence ecosystem development, localisation, offsets, supply‑chain and industrial participation initiatives.
• Work on projects related to modernisation, indigenisation, advanced manufacturing, drones/UAVs, counter‑drones, aerospace systems, shipbuilding, defence electronics and emerging technologies.

Required profile

• Graduate degree (any discipline) with interest in aerospace and defence sectors.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work with data and market information.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
