Associate – Litigation (Junior Lawyer)

About the role

The firm is seeking a motivated Associate to join its Litigation team in Bengaluru. The role involves handling civil, commercial, real estate, arbitration and criminal matters across various courts and tribunals, while supporting senior counsel on complex cases.

Key responsibilities

• Appear before Civil Courts, District Courts, the High Court of Karnataka, arbitral tribunals and other judicial forums.
• Draft petitions, affidavits, applications, legal notices, written statements, pleadings and other court submissions.
• Conduct legal research, prepare case briefs, legal opinions and supporting documentation.
• Assist senior advocates during hearings, arguments and strategy formulation.
• Manage end‑to‑end litigation processes including filings, documentation, hearings and follow‑ups.

Required profile

• 5‑year integrated LL.B. degree from a recognized university and enrollment with the Karnataka State Bar Council.
• 2–4 years of post‑qualification litigation experience.
• Fluency in English and Kannada.
• Proven ability to handle matters independently and support senior advocates.
• Experience appearing before the High Court of Karnataka and lower courts.
