Associate Director – Partnerships (Sales)

About the role

PayU is seeking an Associate Director – Partnerships to lead the identification, development and management of strategic relationships within the payments ecosystem. The role works cross‑functionally to create joint go‑to‑market initiatives and engages with senior leadership and CXO‑level stakeholders to drive growth.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate new partnership opportunities aligned with business objectives.
• Manage and strengthen relationships with existing and prospective partners.
• Lead joint marketing and promotional activities with partners.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing and other teams to execute partnership initiatives.
• Engage in senior‑level conversations with CXOs and leadership, representing PayU’s interests.
• Analyze campaign performance and ensure effective go‑to‑market strategies.
• Monitor industry trends and identify emerging opportunities within fintech and payments.

Required profile

• Minimum 9+ years of experience in fintech, partnerships, sales or business development.
• Deep understanding of the payments and partner ecosystem.
• Proven track record of building and managing high‑value partnerships.
• Experience with joint marketing initiatives and campaign management.
• Comfortable engaging with leadership and CXO‑level stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills and familiarity with GTM strategies.
• Excellent communicator and team player, adept at cross‑functional collaboration.
