Assistant/Deputy Manager – Product Quality & Process Audits

About the role

The Assistant/Deputy Manager will lead product and process quality audits across the value stream, ensuring error‑free product releases and PPAP dispatches to customers. This role supports continuous improvement and compliance with Bosch’s quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct and supervise product and process quality audits according to SOPs across all shifts.
• Release blocked parts after risk‑based evaluation and manage re‑qualification of SLE parts.
• Coordinate PPAP activities, edit specifications for new layouts, and maintain CAVIS and audit systems.
• Participate in change‑management events, prepare for external audits, and drive quality improvement initiatives.
• Supervise and train new and flexible‑manpower staff, ensuring skill development across three shifts.
• Investigate customer complaints and internal rejections, performing failure‑mode analysis.
• Identify and escalate product‑quality risks based on audit findings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Automobile or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in quality or manufacturing (assembly/component).
• Strong knowledge of problem‑solving methods (8D, 5W) and preventive quality tools (FMEA, ISIR, PPAP).
• Technical understanding of power‑steering (PS) products and audit processes.
