Assistant/Deputy Manager – Claims (Thane)

About the role

The Assistant/Deputy Manager – Claims will coordinate with service‑provider partners to ensure timely settlement of Travel and OPD claims. The role involves conducting regular medical and technical audits of approved claims and maintaining accurate MIS and reporting dashboards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with partner claim processors to achieve agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for claim settlement.
• Perform medical and technical audits on claims before settlement.
• Prepare and submit periodic and ad‑hoc MIS reports related to claims.
• Develop Excel shortcuts, formulas and alternative tools to improve reporting efficiency.
• Conduct sanity checks and close audit observations promptly.
• Train partner claim processors on policy terms, time management and delegation.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and timely submissions.

Required profile

• Experience in claims processing, audit and MIS reporting within the health insurance sector.
• Strong coordination and communication abilities to work with cross‑functional teams.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines.
