Assistant/Deputy Manager - Claims

About the role

The Assistant/Deputy Manager – Claims will coordinate with service‑provider partners to ensure timely settlement of Travel and OPD claims. The role involves conducting medical and technical audits of approved claims and maintaining accurate MIS and reporting dashboards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with partner claim processors to achieve settlement SLA targets.
• Perform regular medical and technical audits of claims before settlement.
• Prepare and submit periodic and ad‑hoc claims reports and MIS.
• Develop Excel shortcuts, formulas and alternative tools to accelerate reporting.
• Conduct sanity checks and close audit observations promptly.
• Train partner claim processors on policy terms, time management and delegation.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for data collection and analysis.

Required profile

• Strong coordination and communication abilities.
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail for audit and data validation.
• Proactive approach to problem solving and process improvement.
• Ability to work under defined TAT and SLA requirements.
