Assistant Reservations Manager

About the role

The Assistant Reservations Manager will support and oversee the reservations team at Vedic Village’s boutique properties. Based on-site in Kochi, this full‑time position ensures smooth handling of room bookings, group reservations and special requests across all locations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage daily reservation operations, monitor room inventory and rates.
• Respond to guest inquiries via phone, email and online channels with courteous, timely service.
• Coordinate with sales, front office and operations to optimise occupancy and revenue.
• Prepare regular reports on booking trends, performance and revenue metrics.
• Assist in training and coaching reservations staff on standards and procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience in hotel reservations or front‑office operations, preferably in luxury resort settings.
• Strong customer‑service and communication abilities.
• Sales orientation with a track record of converting inquiries into bookings.
• Experience in training or mentoring team members.
• Relevant hospitality or business qualification (diploma or degree) is a plus.

Required skills

• Reservation software and Property Management System (PMS) proficiency.
• Basic MS Office skills.
