Cafe Staff – Gelato & Café Service

About the role

We are looking for energetic, customer‑focused individuals to join our Amore Gelato & Café outlets in Kochi. As a Cafe Staff member you will serve gelato, shakes, beverages and café food, ensuring a friendly experience for every guest.

Key responsibilities

• Serve gelato, shakes, beverages and café food items with precision and a friendly attitude.
• Attend to customers courteously at the counter and provide excellent service.
• Operate the POS system, process orders, payments and handle customer queries efficiently.
• Prepare and assemble café food items according to standard operating procedures.
• Maintain product quality, presentation and portion standards.
• Assist with basic food preparation activities such as plating, heating, garnishing and packaging.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bakery staff to ensure smooth and timely order fulfillment.
• Keep the kiosk/café clean, hygienic and well‑stocked throughout the day.
• Monitor stock levels, replenish supplies and report shortages.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, sanitation and quality standards at all times.
• Support opening and closing operations as scheduled.
• Engage in upselling, product recommendations, free sampling and promotional activities.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in F&B, retail or hospitality.
• Basic communication skills in Malayalam and English.
• Positive, team‑player attitude with strong customer service orientation.
• Presentable and well‑groomed appearance.
• Based in or willing to relocate to Kochi.
• Students pursuing Hotel Management, Hospitality or Tourism are preferred.
