Assistant Product Manager

About the role

Sun Pharma is looking for an Assistant Product Manager to support the management of its brand portfolio in Mumbai. The role focuses on developing and executing strategic and operational plans that drive profitability, market share and revenue growth while collaborating closely with cross‑functional teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor strategic and operational plans for assigned brands.
• Create marketing and promotional plans that address consumer needs and support sales initiatives.
• Gather market intelligence through primary research and customer interactions.
• Coordinate with internal and external media to ensure proper execution of campaigns.
• Provide training, product knowledge and communication support to the field sales team.
• Collaborate with medical affairs, learning & development, and R&D teams on product initiatives.
• Conduct SWOT analysis, competitor analysis and market research to inform brand strategies.
• Prepare brand assets such as VA, LBL, newsletters, digital campaigns, webinars and website/app launches.
• Organise scientific symposia, CMEs, conferences and other events to increase brand visibility.
• Motivate the sales force through training camps, awards and recognition programmes.
• Support product forecasting, pipeline strategy and launch planning.
