About the role
The Assistant Manager – Sales & Marketing will drive growth in the EXIM segment, building new customer relationships and expanding market reach. You will act as a bridge between customers, shipping lines and internal teams to deliver tailored logistics solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Identify and develop key business opportunities in the export‑import (EXIM) market.
- Generate new customers, analyse their requirements and propose customized logistics solutions.
- Achieve revenue and volume targets while optimizing sales efforts.
- Maintain long‑term relationships with customers and shipping lines to generate repeat business.
- Coordinate daily with shipping lines to manage empties, open B/L points, collect payments and resolve disputes.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders on product development, market intelligence and corporate sales planning.
- Provide training, mentoring and coaching to team members and ensure effective coordination to meet organisational goals.
Required profile
- Graduate degree; MBA in Marketing & Sales preferred.
- Minimum 6 + years of experience in logistics, supply‑chain sales, operations or key‑account management.
