Assistant Manager – Quality (CNS Rubber & Polymet)

About the role

We are looking for an Assistant Manager – Quality to join the CNS Global Quality Development team at Metso. Based in Alwar, Rajasthan, you will support the Rubber and Polymet business units by developing and maintaining quality assurance and control processes across the supply chain.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain quality standards, procedures and related documentation for new and existing products.
• Create harmonised quality plans and drive their deployment across plants.
• Lead problem‑solving meetings and conduct root‑cause analysis for internal and external quality issues.
• Introduce new processes, automation, digital tools and data‑collection systems to improve quality performance.
• Execute improvement projects focused on quality, cost reduction, productivity and process capability.
• Collaborate with management to set performance expectations for critical manufacturing processes and monitor results.
• Provide training and support to local and global teams on quality specifications, procedures and tools.
• Perform global quality audits and manage corrective actions.

Required profile

• Relevant degree in engineering, materials science or a related field.
• Experience in quality assurance or quality control within an industrial manufacturing environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to lead cross‑functional problem‑solving.
• Excellent communication skills and willingness to travel up to 10 % internationally.

Required skills

• Knowledge of quality management systems and standards (e.g., ISO 9001).
• Familiarity with quality tools such as FMEA, SPC, root‑cause analysis.
• Proficiency in developing and maintaining documentation and audit reports.
