About the role
Sikich is looking for an Assistant Manager to oversee day‑to‑day office operations across its Indian locations. You will ensure smooth administrative processes, support senior leadership, and help maintain an efficient, compliant workplace.
Key responsibilities
- Oversee daily office operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
- Maintain inventory of office supplies, place orders, and manage related budgets.
- Manage relationships with vendors, service providers, and landlords.
- Supervise maintenance of office equipment and facilities.
- Assist senior management with scheduling, correspondence, reporting, and other administrative tasks.
- Prepare operational reports and ensure accurate record‑keeping.
- Coordinate travel, meetings, and events for employees and leadership.
- Support employees on office policies, procedures, and facilities.
- Collaborate with HR and IT to onboard new hires and set up workspaces.
- Identify and implement process improvements to boost productivity.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and local regulations.
- Monitor office expenses and optimize cost‑control measures.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in office operations, administration, or a similar role.
- Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast‑paced environment.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem‑solving abilities.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Knowledge of workplace safety and compliance regulations is a plus.
Required skills
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
