Assistant Manager / Manager – Finance & Accounts

About the role

The Assistant Manager/Manager – Finance & Accounts will lead planning and performance activities, delivering timely and accurate management reporting to support decision‑making across the organisation and its subsidiaries. The role partners with senior management, drives financial discipline, and continuously improves FP&A processes using digital tools.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement management reporting and analysis, including annual budgets, quarterly forecasts, monthly and weekly flash reports.
• Review actuals versus budgets/forecasts, highlight anomalies and drive performance improvements.
• Measure key KPIs, overhead and working capital, and produce weekly reporting packs for stakeholders.
• Coordinate and distribute flash reports and ensure consistent reporting across group companies.
• Partner with senior management to support growth initiatives, new go‑to‑market models and scenario analysis for expansion projects.
• Maintain governance standards, risk assessment, and confidentiality of financial information.
• Liaise with subsidiary finance managers for budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes.
• Provide ad‑hoc analysis, support internal and external audits, and drive continuous improvement through AI and data analytics.
• Identify and implement automation opportunities in FP&A systems and develop new reporting models.

Required profile

• Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification.
• 3–4 years of experience in FP&A or business/commercial finance.
• Experience in a large manufacturing environment (preferred).
• Proven ability to work with senior stakeholders and drive financial discipline.
• Strong analytical mindset with focus on process improvement.

Required skills

• Advanced Excel (intermediate to advanced).
• SAP S/4HANA (experience preferred).
