Assistant Manager / Manager – Finance & Accounts

About the role

JSW Sports Pvt Ltd is seeking an experienced finance professional to join its Bengaluru office as an Assistant Manager or Manager – Finance & Accounts. The role involves overseeing core accounting functions, ensuring statutory compliance, and delivering insightful management reports.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily bookkeeping in Tally, including sales, purchases, receipts, and payments.
• Maintain and clean the general ledger, manage suspense and control accounts.
• Lead month‑end closing activities, handling accruals, pre‑payments, depreciation and preparation of balance sheets, P&L and cash‑flow statements.
• Manage end‑to‑end GST compliance (GSTR‑1, GSTR‑3B) and reconcile input tax credit with books.
• Calculate and remit advance tax, file income‑tax returns and coordinate tax audits.
• Ensure accurate TDS/TCS deductions, deposits and quarterly filing of Forms 24Q, 26Q, 27Q.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, preparing schedules and addressing queries.
• Prepare monthly MIS reports, variance analysis and monitor daily cash flow and bank reconciliations.

Required profile

• 5–6 years of relevant finance and accounting experience.
• CA Inter or B.Com graduate (8+ years experience mentioned in posting).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for interaction with tax authorities, vendors and internal stakeholders.
• Advanced Excel proficiency and basic knowledge of Indian Accounting Standards (Ind AS/AS) and current tax laws.
