Assistant Manager Learning Development

About the role

The Assistant Manager Learning Development will lead the design, delivery and evaluation of training programmes for all hotel team members at DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Bengaluru Outer Ring Road. Working on‑site, you will ensure that staff across departments consistently meet Hilton’s service standards and brand expectations.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, develop and deliver orientation sessions, skills workshops and refresher courses for hotel staff.
• Maintain accurate training records, monitor completion rates and report on learning outcomes.
• Collaborate with department heads to identify learning needs and create tailored training materials.
• Support performance improvement initiatives and coach team members to enhance service quality.
• Promote a culture of continuous learning and uphold guest‑focused service excellence.

Required profile

• Proven experience in training and development, preferably within hospitality.
• Strong supervisory abilities, including mentoring and performance support.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills for diverse audiences.
• Solid customer‑service orientation and understanding of hotel service standards.
• Relevant qualification such as a degree or diploma in Hospitality Management, Human Resources or Learning & Development.
• Familiarity with Hilton brand standards and learning technologies is advantageous.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented and able to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
