Assistant Manager - Holiday Sales

About the role

The Assistant Manager – Holiday Sales will drive short‑haul and domestic travel sales while ensuring seamless end‑to‑end service delivery for customers. Reporting to the Associate Director, the role leads a team of Holiday Experts, coordinates with suppliers, and upholds high service standards across international destinations, contributing to MakeMyTrip’s leadership in the leisure travel segment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise day‑to‑day operations for short‑haul and domestic travel across destinations.
• Ensure timely query handling, quotations, bookings, and customer support throughout the journey.
• Monitor service quality and resolve escalations related to flights, hotels, visas, and ground services.
• Collaborate with suppliers, airlines, and internal stakeholders to execute holiday packages smoothly.
• Track team performance against KPIs such as turnaround time, conversion rate, and customer satisfaction.
• Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to boost efficiency and experience.
• Provide training, coaching, and support to strengthen product knowledge and service delivery.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, travel regulations, and financial guidelines.
• Drive sales team performance to meet revenue targets and business growth.

Required profile

• Postgraduate degree from a reputed institute.
• 5‑8 years of experience in travel operations, preferably in long‑haul or international markets.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of GDS systems: Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre.
• Proficiency with travel booking platforms.
