Assistant Manager - ECommerce Finance

About the role

The Assistant Manager – ECommerce Finance will oversee financial operations for Pantaloons' online marketplace channels. The role ensures accurate settlement, high claim realization, robust controls, and timely MIS reporting to support sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end e‑commerce order lifecycle, coordinating with marketplace platforms, logistics partners, and warehouse teams.
• Conduct periodic review meetings with e‑commerce partners and internal brand teams.
• Raise and resolve disputes related to customer returns, incorrect commissions, and logistics charges.
• Oversee marketplace claim processing, targeting 95‑98% claim realization in line with SOPs.
• Prepare and publish periodic MIS reports, analysing large volumes of marketplace data for actionable insights.
• Identify and resolve payment, return, and settlement discrepancies across multiple platforms.
• Maintain regular interactions with external partners and internal stakeholders to ensure issue resolution within defined timelines.
• Strengthen controls and processes to prevent recurring discrepancies and operational inefficiencies.

Required profile

• Experience handling high‑volume marketplace transactions and reconciliations with strong accuracy.
• Ability to identify and resolve payment, return, and settlement discrepancies.
• Proven track record in claim recovery and dispute management.
• Effective coordination with multiple external partners and internal teams.
• Analytical mindset to generate actionable MIS and support business decision‑making.
