Assistant Front Office Manager

About the role

The Assistant Front Office Manager supports the Front Office Manager in overseeing daily front office operations, ensuring smooth check‑in and check‑out processes, and delivering exceptional guest experiences at a hotel in Pune.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise front desk, bell/door staff, and switchboard teams, stepping in to perform duties when needed.
• Monitor day‑to‑day operations to maintain quality standards and meet guest expectations.
• Handle guest complaints, resolve disputes, and implement corrective actions based on feedback.
• Collaborate with the Front Office Manager to set goals, track performance, and drive continuous improvement.
• Recognize and motivate staff, fostering a collaborative and respectful work environment.
• Ensure accurate financial and business decisions are made in line with departmental objectives.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED with at least 2 years of experience in guest services, front desk, or a related area, OR a 2‑year degree in Hotel & Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to lead and influence team members.
• Ability to manage daily operations and step in for employees when necessary.
