Assistant Division Finance Controller

About the role

The Assistant Division Finance Controller will lead advanced financial analysis, forecasting, and insight generation to support strategic decision‑making across the division. This role works independently under general management direction, ensuring financial integrity and compliance while collaborating with internal and external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse financial statements and prepare detailed reports.
• Review and evaluate capital expenditure requests and purchase orders.
• Conduct pricing, gross margin, and COGS analyses.
• Prepare profit plans and support long‑range planning initiatives.
• Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations, cash‑flow analysis, and journal‑entry preparation.
• Allocate resources and plan headcount requirements.
• Provide supply‑chain and global demand analytics.
• Maintain internal controls, ensure asset integrity, and support audit processes.
• Lead project analyses and present recommendations to senior leadership.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience in financial analysis or controlling.
• Ability to work independently and manage complex, varied projects.
• Strong communication skills for cross‑divisional collaboration.
