Assistant Analytics & Model Analyst - GeoAI

About the role

Moody's is hiring an Assistant Analytics & Model Analyst in Noida, India, within its Geospatial Team of the Model Development Group. The team builds geospatial datasets, exposure intelligence and modelling components that underpin catastrophe risk solutions used by more than 400 clients worldwide. Key responsibilities

• Develop scalable GeoAI pipelines for large-scale satellite and aerial imagery analysis using AI, ML, computer vision and remote sensing.
• Deploy vision models for segmentation, object detection, building footprint extraction, renewable asset detection, image enhancement and change detection.
• Integrate Generative AI and Agentic AI into geospatial data discovery, analysis and production workflows.
• Build and automate spatial processing pipelines in Python.
• Analyse high-resolution datasets on land use and land cover, buildings, infrastructure and renewable energy assets.
• Support model evaluation, visualization, metadata management, documentation and production of GeoAI solutions.

Required profile

• Post-graduate degree (Masters or PhD) in Geoinformatics, Remote Sensing, Earth Sciences or Computer Science, or a graduate degree in Civil Engineering, Computer Science or Environmental Science.
• 1-2 years of experience in geospatial analytics, GeoAI or a closely related field preferred.
• Experience implementing AI-powered solutions and a commitment to responsible and ethical AI use.

Required skills

• Machine learning, computer vision and numerical methods, including CNN-based architectures.
• Remote sensing: image classification, segmentation, change detection, hyperspectral and multispectral imagery.
• Python with Scikit-Learn, TensorFlow, Keras, PyTorch, GluonCV, OpenCV, GDAL, GeoPandas, Rasterio, Pandas, Matplotlib, Seaborn, Plotly.
• GIS tools such as ESRI suite, QGIS and GRASS; Google Earth Engine is a plus.
