About the role
The Area Sales Executive will drive secondary sales growth across the assigned territory, ensuring that market objectives are met through effective channel partner management, business development, and execution of sales strategies.
Key responsibilities
- Achieve secondary sales targets and set clear objectives for Area Workers (AW) and AWSM.
- Communicate objectives, track progress, and motivate the AW team to meet business goals.
- Serve as the commercial interface between AW and BIL, ensuring adequate infrastructure and systems.
- Coach, manage, and evaluate AWSM performance, providing training on BIL best practices and sales call processes.
- Maintain service levels, build business in existing and new outlets, and strengthen dealer relationships.
- Prospect new outlets, execute activations, visibility, merchandising, and ensure plan‑ogram adherence.
- Launch new consumer promotions, trade schemes, and products; operationalize through communication and sampling.
- Collect market intelligence on competitor activities and maintain accurate records and MIS reporting.
- Represent Britannia for consumer complaints and coordinate with the quality team.
Required profile
- Graduate or Post‑Graduate qualification.
- Competencies in market execution, business development, channel partner management, selling and negotiation.
- Ability to set and track objectives, coach teams, and handle consumer complaints effectively.
