About the role
The Area Manager will lead banking sales activities in the Shillong region, driving growth and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. This role reports to senior management and works closely with channel partners and the marketing team.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company targets, aligning with overall business objectives.
- Manage relationships with channel partners and stakeholders to foster collaboration and market penetration.
- Train, mentor and lead the sales team to ensure high performance and achievement of targets.
- Monitor sales metrics, analyse performance data and provide regular reports to senior management.
- Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal company policies throughout all activities.
- Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify new opportunities and threats.
- Coordinate with the marketing team to support promotional activities and campaigns.
