Area Manager – B2B Dealer Banker

About the role

The Area Manager – B2B Dealer Banker will lead the acquisition and relationship development of Bajaj Finance Ltd.'s CD dealers across key northern regions. You will drive growth for a portfolio of loan products, ensuring strong credit quality and meeting annual targets.

Key responsibilities

• Acquire new CD dealers and deepen existing relationships for products such as LAP, Flexi LAP, term loans, working‑capital lines, home loans and business loans.
• Cover the North region including Delhi NCR, Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Jaipur and Calcutta.
• Deliver the annual operating plan by monitoring loan book size, credit quality, interest spreads and cross‑sell performance.
• Develop and execute annual account plans for each dealer.
• Track, monitor and resolve exceptions, deferrals and deviations in dealer performance.
• Manage delinquency portfolios and initiate early recovery actions for overdue accounts.

Required profile

• CA or MBA in Finance with 5‑6 years of lending experience in SME or commercial banking (banks or NBFCs).
• Strong entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently in a flat, non‑hierarchical environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, high integrity and a results‑driven attitude.
• Ability to handle pressure, multitask and solve problems proactively.

Required skills

• Commercial lending expertise.
• Experience managing dealer or channel relationships.
• Knowledge of loan products and credit risk assessment.
