Area Legal Manager

About the role
The Area Legal Manager will lead the execution of the legal team’s strategies for Aditya Birla Finance Ltd., focusing on recovery of outstanding amounts, defending the company in legal proceedings, and maintaining comprehensive MIS reports. The role involves regular coordination with external law firms and internal stakeholders to ensure effective case management.
Key responsibilities
- Execute legal strategies to facilitate recovery of overdue customer dues.
- Protect and defend the company and its employees in all legal cases.
- Maintain detailed Management Information System (MIS) reports related to legal matters.
- Coordinate regularly with law firms and advocates for case handling.
- Collaborate with the Regional Legal Manager to plan monthly case filing and recovery initiatives.
Required profile
- Strong command over field execution in a legal context.
- Good working knowledge of banking laws, SARFAESI, Arbitration, IBC, Negotiable Instruments, Contract Act, and related regulations.
- Excellent legal drafting abilities.
