Area Head – Gold Loan Business (Agra)

About the role

The Area Head will lead the gold loan franchise for the Agra region, translating the regional strategy into actionable plans while balancing rapid growth with strict risk discipline. This senior position oversees profit and loss, ensures regulatory compliance, and drives a high‑performing branch network.

Key responsibilities

• Execute the regional gold loan strategy across the Agra area, setting targets for AUM, disbursement, and market share.
• Manage P&L statements, cost discipline, and profitability metrics such as Net Interest Margin and ROA/ROE.
• Maintain strict LTV norms, low NPA levels, and robust collateral coverage despite gold price volatility.
• Ensure zero‑deviation compliance with RBO guidelines across all branches.
• Prevent fraud, jewelry substitution, internal collusion, and security breaches while scaling operations.
• Improve performance of under‑productive branches and optimise fixed costs.
• Deliver transparent, fast, and respectful customer experiences for a highly emotional asset class.

Required profile

• Proven experience in leading gold loan or similar NBFC business units.
• Strong track record in P&L management, risk control and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to lead large, distributed branch networks and drive sustainable growth.
• Deep understanding of gold loan products, LTV norms, and collateral management.
