Architect – Interior Design (ID)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Interior Design Architect to join AECOM’s Enterprise Capabilities Architecture team in Bangalore. The role involves delivering marine infrastructure and transport projects while advancing technical expertise within a collaborative, high‑performing environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform advanced architectural calculations and prepare specifications, reports, and data tables.
• Review and approve conceptual designs and drawings.
• Execute complex technical assignments independently, adhering to schedules and budgets under the supervision of the lead architect.
• Coordinate technical and administrative activities with cross‑functional teams.
• Develop new architectural methods and train design and drafting personnel.
• Liaise with design and drafting groups to ensure project cohesion and efficiency.

Required profile

• 6–9 years of experience in interior architecture.
• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit and openness to learning new tools.
• Experience in transport architecture and workplace interiors.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently.
• Track record of delivering projects on tight timelines and managing teams.
• Experience in the Middle East, US, or UK is a plus.
