About the role
Udupi Cochin Shipyard Limited (UCSL) in Malpe, Karnataka, is offering a one‑year apprenticeship program for fresh graduates and diploma holders in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. The program follows the Apprentices (Amendment) Act 1973 and provides hands‑on training in a shipyard environment.
Key responsibilities
Required profile
- Graduate (BE/B.Tech) in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or Diploma in the same disciplines.
- Passed the qualifying examination in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025 or 2026.
- Age 18 years or older as of 18‑05‑2026.
- Eligibility under the Apprentices (Amendment) Act 1973.
Required skills
What we offer
- Stipend of ₹13,200 – ₹15,000 per month.
- Meals allowance.
- One‑year structured training under experienced engineers.
