Android Software Developer (2-4 years experience)

About the role

We are seeking an Android Software Developer with 2‑4 years of experience to design, develop, and maintain high‑quality mobile applications for our clients in Kolkata. The role involves working across the full mobile development lifecycle, from concept to deployment, ensuring performance, scalability, and adherence to Google’s design guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable Android applications using Java and Kotlin.
• Utilize Android Jetpack components and apply architectural patterns such as MVC, MVP, and MVVM.
• Integrate RESTful APIs and handle offline storage, multithreading, and performance optimization.
• Work with Android SDK, NDK and ensure compatibility across various Android versions and screen sizes.
• Implement cloud messaging, push notification services, and perform memory and performance tuning.
• Maintain code using Git and follow best practices for version control and collaboration.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 2‑4 years of hands‑on Android development experience.
• Strong understanding of the complete mobile application development lifecycle.
• Familiarity with Google’s design principles and interface guidelines.
