Senior Data Engineer

About the role

Entiovi Technologies is expanding its AI & Data team in India and is looking for a Senior Data Engineer to design and build robust data structures and pipelines that power machine‑learning and computer‑vision workflows. You will work remotely, collaborating closely with AI Engineers to deliver reliable, cost‑effective data foundations across Azure, Snowflake, Databricks and Lakebase.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data schemas, models and pipelines for training, feature engineering and inference.
• Develop ELT/ETL processes on Databricks (Spark, Delta Lake) and load curated data into Snowflake.
• Ingest structured, semi‑structured and unstructured data (text, images, video) into Azure storage services (ADLS, Data Factory, Event Hubs, Synapse).
• Integrate machine‑learning and computer‑vision models into data pipelines and manage data flow for AI services.
• Synchronize lakehouse data with Lakebase (managed PostgreSQL) for low‑latency serving and support online feature stores.
• Build and maintain API integrations for automated data ingestion from internal and third‑party sources.
• Monitor pipeline performance, reliability and cost; troubleshoot failures and optimise Snowflake and Databricks workloads.
• Implement data quality checks, validation, lineage documentation and maintain a data dictionary.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of professional experience in data engineering or a similar data‑focused role.
• Hands‑on production experience with Databricks (Apache Spark, Delta Lake, notebooks, workflows) and Snowflake.
• Strong background in data architecture and Git version control.
