Android Developer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Android Developer to join our product team in India. You will work closely with cross‑functional groups to design, build, and ship high‑quality mobile features that delight users.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and engineers to define and implement new features.
• Integrate and maintain connectivity with external data sources and APIs using REST and JSON.
• Write comprehensive unit tests to ensure code robustness, usability, and reliability.
• Identify and fix bugs while continuously optimizing application performance.
• Research, evaluate, and adopt emerging technologies to improve development efficiency.
• Provide technical guidance and support to teammates throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assess feasibility of new features and deliver realistic time estimates.
• Stay current with industry trends, mobile architectures, and best practices.
• Oversee the full mobile development lifecycle from concept through post‑launch support.

Required profile

• Proven Android development experience with at least one published original app.
• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Kotlin, and Android Studio.
• Experience working with remote data via REST and JSON, including third‑party libraries and APIs.
• Ability to evaluate and adopt new technologies for efficiency.
• Excellent communication and troubleshooting skills.
• Comprehensive understanding of mobile architectures and the complete development lifecycle.
• Capable of guiding and collaborating effectively with development teams.
• Commitment to building high‑quality, high‑performance Android applications.
