Senior Analyst, Survey Programming & Data Scrubbing

About the role

We are seeking a highly skilled, detail‑driven Data Scrubbing Senior Analyst to join our growing Global Programming & Hosting (P&H) team. In this hands‑on role you will safeguard the quality and integrity of our clients' survey data through rigorous cleaning, validation, and scrubbing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the cleaning and scrubbing of survey data, removing duplicate, fraudulent, or low‑quality responses while preserving dataset integrity.
• Review client requirements and quality thresholds, advising on best practices for data validation, quota management, and respondent quality control.
• Conduct rigorous QA checks on incoming data to detect straight‑lining, speeding, and other fraud patterns before delivery.
• Ensure data structures are clean, properly formatted, and privacy‑compliant for delivery (SPSS, Excel, CSV), scrubbing or anonymising PII in line with GDPR and similar regulations.
• Quickly diagnose and resolve data quality issues, flagging anomalies or respondent flow bottlenecks during live fieldwork.
• Partner directly with internal Project Managers and client‑side researchers to clarify quality standards and provide updates on data delivery timelines.

Required profile

• 3+ years of hands‑on full‑service project management or survey programming experience within market research, panel, or data‑collection environments.
• Advanced proficiency in major survey programming platforms such as Decipher, Qualtrics, Alchemer or similar ResTech tools.
• Strong working knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript to customize survey interfaces.
• Experience with Python or XML is a strong plus.
• Exceptional analytical and QA skills with a proven track record of delivering clean, error‑free survey logic and data files.
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with internal stakeholders and external clients, managing expectations and ensuring timely delivery.
