AMS Consultant / Senior AMS Consultant

About the role

We are looking for an AMS Consultant or Senior AMS Consultant to manage end‑to‑end Application Managed Services for enterprise applications at Bosch’s Bengaluru software centre. The role involves ensuring application availability, stability and performance while driving automation and transformation initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Manage AMS services across SAP, Oracle and non‑SAP enterprise applications, handling incidents, service requests, problems and changes.
• Monitor application health, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement preventive actions to reduce incidents.
• Lead transition of applications from incumbent vendors, develop runbooks, define SLA/KPI and support model.
• Identify and implement automation, AI‑assisted resolution, self‑healing and predictive incident management.
• Collaborate with CIO/CTO, technology partners and offshore teams, manage escalations and participate in governance meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT or equivalent.
• 8–15 years of experience in Application Managed Services, application support or IT service management, preferably in large enterprise or GSI environments.
• Strong communication and stakeholder‑management skills with ability to work across technology and business teams.
• Experience with ITIL/ITSM processes and tools such as ServiceNow, Jira or BMC.

Required skills

• SAP modules (S/4HANA, ECC, FICO, MM, SD, PP, SuccessFactors, Ariba, BW/4HANA, Basis, Integration).
• Oracle applications (E‑Business Suite, Fusion Cloud, ERP, HCM, SCM, Database).
• Non‑SAP platforms: Microsoft Dynamics D365, Salesforce, ServiceNow, Workday, MES, PLM, Supply Chain, custom Java/.NET, API/integration platforms, data & analytics.
• Automation and AI technologies (GenAI, AIOps, RPA) and knowledge of ITIL practices.
