Aircraft Performance Engineer

About the role

The Aircraft Performance Engineer will be responsible for establishing and maintaining the overall performance of Airbus aircraft throughout all phases – from feasibility studies to development, certification, and operational service. The role supports internal and external stakeholders with accurate performance data and software tools.

Key responsibilities

• Define and validate aircraft performance within regulatory and operational frameworks during feasibility, development, and service phases.
• Deliver performance software and data to internal teams (marketing, operations, design) and external partners (equipment suppliers).
• Guarantee performance targets for project development and serial production.
• Provide technical support for performance‑related issues during vehicle operation.
• Assist in performance optimisation during certification and ongoing service.
• Monitor compliance risks and act with integrity to protect company reputation.

Required profile

• Professional experience level in aerospace or aircraft performance engineering.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and operational performance metrics.
• Commitment to ethical standards and risk awareness.
