AI Software Engineer

About the role

NXP is looking for an AI Software Engineer in Hyderabad who will work closely with technical marketing, product and customer support teams to understand benchmark data requirements. The engineer explores benchmarking methods and tools used in vision and LLM/VLM models, evaluates Kinara products, writes and optimizes scripts for deep learning model deployment and prepares benchmarking and analysis reports for engineering and marketing stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Write and optimize scripts for deep learning model deployment and benchmarking
• Prepare detailed benchmarking and analysis reports for engineering and marketing stakeholders
• Measure and report latency, throughput, accuracy and power consumption of AI workloads
• Evaluate AI workloads using MLPerf and MLFlow benchmarks for computer vision, and LLM benchmarks such as MMLU, HumanEval, GSM8K, ARC Challenge and GPQA

Required profile

• B.Tech in ECE/CS with 4+ years of experience in machine learning or a related field
• Exposure to neural networks, AI/ML/DL models, training and frameworks such as TensorFlow, Caffe and PyTorch
• Experience developing AI workload flows in C++ and Python
• Experience evaluating the performance of hardware and software systems

Required skills

• Proficiency in Python and C/C++
• Familiarity with AI accelerators, LLM frameworks and inference servers
• Linux environment and device driver internals (often preferred)
• CI/CD tools, GitHub and automation frameworks
