Aeroacoustics Engineer

About the role

Airbus Group India is seeking an Aeroacoustics Engineer to join its Flight Physics team in Bangalore. You will work on the next‑generation aircraft, integrating noise sources and design solutions to meet stringent aircraft noise requirements and support sustainable aviation goals.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate multiple noise sources and design solutions to achieve target aircraft noise levels and airport footprint.
• Support definition of top‑level aircraft requirements, monitor noise status throughout development, and conduct aircraft noise monitoring.
• Develop and maintain aeroacoustic technologies, methods and analytical tools across R&T, preliminary and detailed design, product improvement and in‑service support.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure aeroacoustic specifications are addressed in an integrated manner.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering (or PhD) with 2 + years of relevant experience.
• Strong background in aeroacoustics, noise propagation, flight operations and performance.
• Basic programming skills in Python or Matlab.
• Analytical mindset with interest in data analytics and machine learning.
• Excellent communication, teamwork and willingness to travel internationally for extended periods.
