ADN Manager (Assurance) - Bengaluru

About the role

EY is hiring an ADN Manager for its Assurance team in Bengaluru. The manager acts as the main point of contact from GDS for tasks assigned by the global client serving assurance teams, ensuring the timeliness and quality of deliverables and managing day-to-day operations of those engagements. The role involves working virtually or directly with engagement teams across the Americas and Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Support a portfolio of engagements by leading a team of Assistant Managers, Seniors and Associates
• Ensure timely, high-quality work according to EY methodology and engagement team expectations
• Demonstrate strong understanding of EY methodology, including pre-issuance reviews, assurance quality reviews and efficiency projects
• Build relationships with Assurance executives in the Americas and Europe and embed EY Risk Management procedures in the team's work
• Help transition new engagements and services to GDS Assurance while maintaining quality
• Manage workflow, resource allocation, utilization, budget to actuals and performance against standards
• Standardize assurance processes, encourage team growth, conduct performance reviews and provide training

Required profile

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI) with 5-6 years of post-qualification relevant experience
• Qualified ACCA / CPA with 7-8 years of post-qualification relevant experience
• Articleship with a top or mid-tier accounting firm
• Experience in a mid- or top-tier firm focused on external or assurance reviews, or in an MNC/larger Indian company, preferably in a shared service environment
• Big 4 firms (Indian and global practice)

Required skills

• Expert knowledge of Indian accounting and assurance standards
• Knowledge of UK GAAP or US GAAP and international assurance standards is an added advantage
• Excellent English communication, risk management, facilitation and presentation skills
• Project management, leadership, coaching and supervisory skills
• Proficiency in MS Excel and MS Office is ideal
