Accounts Payable Process Associate & Developer (Management Trainee)

About the role

Genpact is looking for an Accounts Payable Process Associate who will also develop process solutions and grow through a management‑trainee program. You will support the end‑to‑end AP cycle, ensure data accuracy, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Calculate, post, and verify business transactions related to accounts payable.
• Process invoices (PO and non‑PO) and review requisitions for payment approval.
• Maintain high‑quality AP processes, handling non‑compliant or non‑standard cases.
• Verify invoice totals, apply discounts, and assign voucher numbers.
• Check vendor histories, prepare vouchers with detailed coding, and ensure compliance with accounting policies.
• Identify and implement AP process improvements.
• Perform vendor reconciliation, manage the vendor payment cycle, and handle GRIR and vendor advances.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Economics, Finance or related field (Masters in Finance acceptable).
• Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a fast‑moving, technology‑driven environment.
