Accountant – Record to Report (R2R) – Ahmedabad

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented finance professional to own end‑to‑end Record‑to‑Report (R2R) activities for our Ahmedabad operations. The role covers general ledger accounting, month‑end and year‑end close, fixed‑asset management, intercompany processing and statutory compliance under Indian regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries for accruals, pre‑payments, provisions, allocations and adjustments.
• Perform balance‑sheet reconciliations, resolve reconciling items and conduct variance analysis.
• Maintain fixed‑asset registers, handle additions, disposals, transfers and depreciation.
• Process and reconcile intercompany transactions, ensure timely confirmations and eliminations.
• Support month‑end and year‑end close, trial‑balance reviews and consolidation data uploads.
• Prepare management reporting packs and statutory financial statements under Companies Act, 2013.
• Maintain GST/VAT schedules, assist with income‑tax computations and cost‑audit requirements.
• Ensure compliance with SOX, internal controls and act as liaison for internal and external auditors.

Required profile

• B.Com, M.Com, MBA (Finance) or CA/CMA (Inter) qualification.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in finance operations or shared services.
• Strong understanding of Indian statutory requirements (GST, Income Tax, Companies Act, Cost Audit).
