Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Accountant to maintain accurate financial records, ensure proper posting of transactions, and support month‑end and year‑end close processes. The role involves preparing key financial statements and collaborating with cross‑functional teams to resolve accounting issues.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and post accurate journal entries in line with accounting policies.
• Perform monthly general ledger reconciliations with supporting documentation.
• Complete month‑end and year‑end close activities on schedule.
• Analyze balance‑sheet accounts, investigate discrepancies, and ensure GAAP/IFRS compliance.
• Support the preparation and review of financial statements (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow).
• Assist audit teams by providing schedules and documentation.
• Monitor and improve internal controls related to GL processes.
• Identify opportunities for process automation and efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in General Ledger accounting or Record‑to‑Report.
• Strong knowledge of accounting concepts, GAAP, IFRS, and IND AS.
• Experience with month‑end, year‑end close, and audit support.
