Senior Business Analysis

About the role

Mastercard is seeking a Senior Business Analyst to lead Treasury Accounting activities within the Reval Treasury Management System in Pune. The role will ensure accurate accounting generation, reconciliation and integration with Oracle General Ledger, partnering with Treasury, Accounting, Finance Systems and Technology teams.

Key responsibilities

• Manage Reval accounting processes, generate and review journal entries for treasury transactions, and support accounting for investments, debt instruments, money market funds, FX hedges and interest rate swaps.
• Perform cash and non‑cash journal entry validations, reconcile Reval entries against Treasury payment reports, investigate variances and conduct month‑end accounting reviews.
• Support Reval‑to‑Oracle GL interfaces, validate data before processing, monitor journal loads and troubleshoot integration issues.
• Maintain chart‑of‑accounts mapping in Reval, participate in system testing, upgrades and enhancements, and keep SOPs, process documentation and audit evidence up to date.
• Collaborate with Treasury Front Office, Accounting, Consolidations and FSD teams, provide subject‑matter expertise and support audits and compliance reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• 5+ years of Treasury Accounting or Treasury Systems experience, with hands‑on Reval TMS exposure.
• Experience supporting global treasury operations and working with Oracle EBS/Fusion GL integration.
• Strong knowledge of treasury products such as debt, investments, FX derivatives and hedging instruments.
• Advanced Excel and reconciliation skills, familiarity with SOX controls and audit requirements.
