Accountant – Full-time, On-site in Ahmedabad

About the role

WT Technologies Pvt Ltd is looking for a full-time Accountant to join its on-site team in Ahmedabad. The role involves overseeing all accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting the company’s strategic decisions through timely reporting and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end accounting operations and maintain books of accounts.
• Record and verify all financial transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, journal entries, and bank movements.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable, issue invoices, and follow up on outstanding receivables.
• Reconcile bank accounts, payment gateways, credit cards, and other financial records regularly.
• Coordinate with auditors, tax consultants, and regulatory authorities for audits and statutory compliance.
• Ensure timely filing of GST, TDS, Income Tax, ROC, and other statutory requirements.
• Monitor cash flow, prepare cash-flow projections, and maintain proper financial documentation.
• Oversee vendor onboarding, verify invoices against quotations and purchase orders, and process vendor payments.
• Review expense claims and project-wise costing, providing financial approval before expenditures.
• Collaborate with project managers to keep spending within approved budgets.
• Manage payment disbursals related to Wowsly ticketing, reconcile ticket sales, refunds, commissions, and payouts.

Required profile

• Full-time availability and on-site presence in Ahmedabad.
• Strong knowledge of Indian tax regulations, including GST, TDS, and Income Tax.
• Ability to prepare accurate financial reports and cash-flow projections.
• Experience handling accounts payable, accounts receivable, and vendor management.
