Accountant – Financial Reporting & Compliance

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to join our Accounts department at the head office in Zirakpur. You will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and supporting day‑to‑day accounting operations.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and the general ledger.
• Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions.
• Reconcile bank statements and balance‑sheet accounts.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and tax regulations.
• Support internal and external audits.
• Maintain documentation and continuously improve accounting processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3 to 5 years of proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP/IFRS and tax preparation.
• CPA or CMA certification is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast‑paced environment.
