Accountant – Finance & Accounts (4-7 yrs)

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to oversee day‑to‑day financial operations. The role involves maintaining accurate records, ensuring statutory compliance, and supporting the finance team with reporting and analysis.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain daily accounting records, bookkeeping, and ledger reconciliations.
• Record and reconcile all bank transactions and perform monthly bank reconciliations.
• Prepare and process vendor payments, employee reimbursements, and payroll support.
• Generate sales and purchase invoices, manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare GST returns, TDS deductions, and other statutory filings.
• Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual financial closing.
• Maintain fixed‑asset registers and depreciation schedules.
• Coordinate with auditors, consultants, and banks as required.
• Prepare MIS reports and financial statements for management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) or equivalent; M.Com or relevant certification is a plus.
• 4–7 years of experience in accounting and finance, preferably in real‑estate, construction, or event management.
• Strong analytical, numerical, and attention‑to‑detail skills.
• Ability to handle confidential financial information.
