Accountant – Excel & Tally ERP Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Accountant to join our finance team. The role involves managing day‑to‑day accounting tasks, ensuring compliance with tax regulations, and supporting budgeting and financial reporting activities.

Key responsibilities

• Record and maintain accurate journal voucher entries following company procedures.
• Update and manage data in Excel spreadsheets, ensuring completeness and accuracy.
• Organise and file both physical and electronic accounting documents.
• Process cash vouchers while adhering to internal controls.
• Calculate and deduct TDS on invoices and payments in line with tax regulations.
• Record and reconcile bank transactions using Tally ERP.
• Prepare and maintain invoices in Excel.
• Assist in preparing and filing GSTR‑1 and GSTR‑3B returns.
• Prepare TDS workings, ensure timely deposits and filings.
• Reconcile GST and TDS accounts, resolving any discrepancies.
• Support budget preparation and financial reporting as required.

Required profile

• 2–3 years of experience in a CA firm or similar accounting environment (advantageous).
• Strong knowledge of GST, TDS calculations and related reconciliations.
• Familiarity with Indian taxation laws and financial regulations.
• Ability to maintain accurate financial records and reports.
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
