Accountant – Billing & Accounts Receivable

About the role

We are looking for an Accountant based in Jaipur to manage billing, invoicing and accounts receivable for our web‑hosting and IT services business. The role combines accurate financial processing with direct customer interaction to ensure smooth revenue flow.

Key responsibilities

• Generate accurate invoices for services rendered and ensure timely billing of subscription plans, domains and related services.
• Monitor recurring billing cycles and trigger automated billing processes.
• Manage accounts receivable, track payments, send reminders and follow up with customers.
• Handle customer inquiries regarding invoices, payments and billing discrepancies with professional service.
• Prepare financial reports such as revenue analysis and accounts receivable aging.
• Reconcile accounts, resolve discrepancies and process refunds or adjustments as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related field (preferred).
• Proven experience in billing and accounts receivable.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational abilities and good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Tally ERP and Tally Prime.
• Knowledge of Indian taxation, TDS and GST.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Excel and general Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with accounting software and billing systems.
