Accountant 3-Fin – Global Accounting Controllers

About the role

Join Oracle's Global Accounting Controllers (GAC) team, a core part of the Global Controllers Organization. You will support US GAAP accounting and reporting for assigned countries, ensuring accurate and timely book closes and high‑quality financial statements.

Key responsibilities

• Execute month‑end and quarter‑end close activities, including data‑center accounting and ledger reconciliation.
• Provide audit support and lead or participate in global finance projects.
• Test and implement process changes resulting from system upgrades.
• Drive process and reconciliation improvements using cloud technology and automation.
• Partner with global stakeholders to maintain a unified approach to close management and financial data.
• Train new joiners and act as the single point of contact for regional project issues.
• Maintain general ledger, journal entries, accounts payable/receivable, fixed assets, and inter‑company transactions.
• Prepare financial reports such as profit & loss, balance sheet, and variance analysis.

Required profile

• CA/CMA with 3‑6 years of experience, or B.Com/M.Com/MBA with 8+ years in accounting and finance.
• Self‑driven, result‑oriented, with strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to collaborate with stakeholders worldwide and adopt an innovative, fiduciary mindset.
