Accountant – 1 to 3 Years Experience

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Accountant to join our fintech team. You will manage daily accounting operations, ensure accurate financial records, and support statutory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain day‑to‑day accounting records, journal entries, payment vouchers and receipts.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable, including vendor payments and customer collections.
• Perform bank, cash and ledger reconciliations and maintain the general ledger.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports and assist with budgeting and analysis.
• Support GST, TDS and other statutory compliance filings, as well as payroll processing.
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audit cycles.
• Maintain fixed‑asset registers, depreciation schedules and proper documentation of financial records.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Finance, Accounting or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in fintech or financial services.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bank reconciliation and statutory compliance.
• Excellent analytical, organizational and communication skills with high attention to detail.
