About the role

The Academic Recruiter will lead the end‑to‑end hiring process for faculty positions across multiple departments. This role focuses on attracting high‑quality academic talent and ensuring a smooth candidate experience from application through onboarding.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the full‑cycle recruitment process for faculty roles.
• Develop and execute recruitment strategies to attract top‑tier academic talent.
• Source candidates through job boards, social media, networking events, and academic conferences.
• Review applications and resumes to identify qualified candidates.
• Partner with department heads and academic leaders to schedule interviews and assessments.
• Assist in evaluating candidates' research background, teaching ability, and overall fit.
• Facilitate compensation and benefits negotiations.
• Provide timely, constructive feedback to candidates at each stage.
• Build relationships with placement cells, especially Doctorate programs, to source fresh PhDs.

Required profile

• 4–8 years of experience in talent acquisition, preferably in higher‑education or related sectors.
• MBA or postgraduate degree in Human Resources with a strong academic record.
• Demonstrated ability to manage full‑cycle recruiting processes.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Deep understanding of role‑specific competencies and employee branding.
